What do I think about love? 🖤
This point is so hard for me to discuss because if we talk about romantic love, I divide it into two parts.
The first one I call “perfect love”. You also may know it as the true love. Usually people say that it’s a fire between two people, it’s a bunch of kisses and the feeling of butterflies inside your stomach, expensive presents and whatever.
A true love is a display of the small things: love is when you know everything about the person whether these things are good and bad and still choose the person. Love is when you wanna learn more and more, the person for you is a sea you want to deep into more each day. Love is when you see some meaningless things and wish a beloved person to be there with you so that you both could see this. Love is care, needing nothing in return. Love is when you know you can be yourself with a person and you won’t be judged. Love is when you see the future together and fight against the world to be happy. Love is understanding, needs nothing in return but happiness of the beloved one. Love is not for or because, love is against.
Unfortunately the love I mentioned above is the love I’ve never seen myself and around . I’m not saying that people can’t love. But the meaning of it has changed a lot. Love now is something fast, something temporary. Love is so cheap now. People buy love, people cheat on love, people replace each other so easily.
So that’s why I came up with the second vision of love. “Realistic love”. Maybe we give this word too much meaning it doesn’t have? From the very childhood the television and books, songs taught us that love is a magic sparkle between two people, that you find your Princess or Prince Charming and you live “happily ever after”. I think it’s the spot when we got fooled and mistaken by the society. Maybe we should see love more simple: like the highest level of attachment and need, care and emotions to other person. Something that blocks our mind and makes us do silly things that we’d never do being rational. Some sort of disease.😁 Wow, didn’t even know that my flood of thoughts can lead me to calling love a disease.
