As residents of the Gallatin Valley, we find ourselves drawn to mountains, streams, rivers, sunrises, and sunsets. We watch intently as the clouds roll across our field of vision, wondering, if we reached toward the sky, might we be able to touch them? We find ourselves not only enchanted by majestic vistas, but challenged by the opportunities we have to climb the craggy mountain escarpments, run the foamy rapids of the Gallatin, or rocket down the black diamond slopes of Bridger Bowl. One of the qualities that make us unique is our passionate quest for personal and spiritual fulfillment in these beautiful and challenging surroundings. Why? . . . "Natural Spirituality" is a course designed to enable us to explore these yearnings and seek answers to our questions. Meet with us December 2-6, from 6-9pm at 2030 Stadium Dr. in Bozeman. Class costs $100. Use the link in our bio to learn more and register!

⠀ "Leave the beaten track behind occasionally and dive into the woods."⠀ ⠀ -Alexander Graham Bell⠀ ⠀ When visiting popular places like our National Parks, it is easy to take the classic shot. I do that often because nature's beauty pulls me like a magnet and I just can't help myself. I, however, like also doing other photos that show my perspective and how I see things. This photo was taken @YellowstoneNationalPark I loved the intricacy of textures and colors. It almost looks like an oil painting to me. It is a cool abstract that I might end up hanging at home. ⠀ ⠀ What about you guys? Do you do the classic shot when going somewhere popular or do you steer away from that altogether?⠀ ⠀ #ExploreMoreCreateMore ⠀ ⠀ Camera and lens @nikonusa ⠀ ⠀ -⠀ -⠀ -⠀ -⠀ -⠀ #yellowstonenationalpark #bigskycountry #landscapephoto #nikonnofilter #wowplanet #nationalparkgeek #igpodium #discover_earthpix #tourtheplanet #usinterior #national_park_photos #worldshares #findyourpark #mothernaturetravels #naturelove #usparksandmonuments #liveyouradventure #ig_photoofday #our_parks #nps #Wildernessquest #wonderful_places #⠀ #abstractnaturephotography #abstractphoto #artforsale #naturefineart #theworld_around_you #earth_shots #alluring_landscapes

Last night there was a shocking pink sunset seemingly all over Scotland. This isn't it! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is an unedited February sunrise that was far from a one off occurrence last winter. It was not warm, but what a feeling to have this overhead and nothing but a chorus of scorries disrupting the total calm. When you want to get away from it all, get to the north coast and have skies like this be your entertainment 🌬️💨🌅 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #DiscoverThurso #Thurso #Caithness #NC500 #NorthCoast500 #VentureNorth #ScotlandIsNow #VisitScotland #skyscape #skymagic #sunsets #getawayfromitall #offthebeatenpath #andbreathe #wellness #tranquility #wellnesswarrior #slowdown #wellnesstourism #naturalscotland #scottishtown #scottish #scottishdestination #oldtown #arcitecture #bigskycountry #bbctravel

You don’t have to leave the US to feel like you’re on another planet 🚀🌎 ⁣ ⁣ Yellowstone National Park sits on a supervolcano and is home to more than half the total active geysers in the world 🙀⁣ ⁣ And that’s just one of 5 geothermal features of the park. There’s also hot springs, mud pots, terraces and fumaroles 🌋⁣ ⁣ While beautiful, the crust is thin so it’s not recommended you stray from the boardwalks! ⁣ ⁣ Only 2% of the park is developed — the rest is preserved as pure wilderness. ⁣ ⁣ Thank you to @codyyellowstone and @xanterratravel for putting together this unforgettable glimpse into the wild 🙏⁣ ⁣ Is Yellowstone on your USA bucket list? 🇵🇷⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ #yellowstonenationalpark #tbexbillings #yellowstone #yellowstonepark #yellowstonephotography #yellowstonenps #yellowstonenp #visitwyoming #explorewyoming #wyomingtravel #bigskycountry #yellowstoneforever #yellowstoneclub #naturetravel #travels_nature_life #adventuretravels #usatravel #traveltheusa #nationalparkgeek #nationalparksusa #nationalparkphotography #nationalparklife #visittheusa #travelingamerica #natgeotraveller #travelbloggersofig #travelandexplore #natureseekers #instatravelnature #geothermalarea

John Piccinini, the father of Anthony “Tony” Piccinini, the owner of Eddies, was born in Abruzzi, Italy. At the age of fifteen, he immigrated to the United States and worked for the Northern Pacific Railroad as a boilermaker on steam engines in the roundhouse in Missoula. By the mid-1950’s, diesel engines had replaced steam ones and Piccinini skills were no longer needed. He retired from the railroad and worked odd jobs around Missoula in his elder years. Piccinini came to Eddies to visit with fellow railroaders who had worked with steam engines. Known as a wonderful father he lived with his oldest son, Ralph, after his wife passed away.

Rockie goes to Glacier National Park! In the last year and half we've been to countless US national parks, and they've been fantastic without exception. Glacier National Park is another such wondrous specimen. Deep valleys, lush meadows, majestic sweeping vistas, sky-splitting peaks soaring out of lapis lazuli alpine lakes. We only had time for a short hike on our drive to Canada, but its beauty has imprinted sensations of awe upon our minds.

Earlier this year, I visited Glacier national park, and I was deeply saddened and baffled by what I saw. Some of you might remember that there was a massive wildfire in Glacier national park last year. That wasn't the first for the park… they've had a history of several large wildfires that affected thousands of acres in the past — two major wildfires in 2017, once in 2015, once in 2006 and once in 2003, in addition to the one from last year. One simply could not help but notice the extent of damage these have caused, while visiting the park. And yet, I happened to witness multiple instances of people being careless with firecrackers very close to the boundaries of the park. Granted, I visited on the 4th of July weekend, and everyone was in a festive mood, but that is NO EXCUSE for carelessly kicking a half-burnt firecracker into the bushes. It also seemed that the people engaging in these behaviors were locals, and it just totally baffled me why someone would act that way when they KNOW they could easily start a wildfire.

High enough to touch the clouds ☁️☁️ Some pictures here and there, of yoga on top of Heart Mountain, a black bear along the road to East Rosebud, bike rides to Stockade Schoolhouse and up Picket Pin Road a dumb ways back in, Marla sunsets, and of course the tiny dots of two humans on top of the Silver Run pillar just below one puffy white cloud. We’ve been packing in a lot of fun in the last month or so. About to take off to have more fun somewhere else. Is there a limit to fun? Haven’t found it, still searching 🗺
