One of the easiest tips I learned early on in my health journey was: when you look at your plate, how many unique colors are on it? Is it mostly yellow or white? Or do you see purples, reds, dark green, black, orange, blues...?
This is an easy way to evaluate if you’re balancing your plate. Because even as we try to consume “healthy” foods, we can sometimes miss the mark.
If your plate is a banana, scrambled eggs, and sprouted grain toast - those are great health food choices!! But is your plate balanced? Are you getting in diverse nutrients?
So there’s my favorite/easy tip for ya. When building your meal, make sure it looks like a rainbow of colors from mother nature.
