▪︎ before coming to Bali and Lombok, I did research on good places to visit by using Instagram and YouTube. I found so many different beautiful temples, places and restaurants. I didn't realise this was such a common way to do for a country like Bali. The good side of the story: it's such an easy way to find great spots, as I am not the only one. The downside is: everybody does it. I read a story from a girl who stayed in the Golf Resort in Bali 8 years ago. It was quiet and peaceful. Up to the day of today it is a tourist attraction. People queue up for an hour to take a picture. Also people queue for other famous temples just for a pictures. And I'm not even kidding: they queue up for 2-3hrs. In order to skip the mass tourism in this beautiful place, I woke up at 7 to be at the place at 8, just after opening time. It was worth it! Even though there were some people around, I still enjoyed the peacefulness and quietness around the area. Tip: if you go to touristic places, go earlier. You enjoy the place more and have more time to spend the rest of the dat to do something you like!
