Fear of failure is one of the main reasons we stop ourselves from pursuing something life changing. That, and the fear of being judged.
Let’s debunk a few things:
1. Failure does not exist. I know a lot of you have heard that it’s not considered failing if you learn something from it, but let me put it in a different way. “Failure” is a word we attach negative connotations to, but if you think of this word as a neutral word, it’s no a longer negative or positive thing. Everything is life is neutral until we attach an emotion to it. So it’s possible to look at something and say, “I failed at that. I can’t do it.” When instead you should be saying, “that was an experience I can learn from and my path is being redirected to something even better”. 2. If you’re afraid of being judged, well as @jameswedmore says, “hate to break it to you, but they’re already judging you.” So you might as well take the leap.
It’s a big risk to put yourself out there, but I think the bigger risk is settling for a subpar life and never feeling truly fulfilled because your fear (AKA YOU), held yourself back. Sharing more this week in a few wellness articles on the blog (link in bio).
