Originally, I was happy to step into #gamcheonculturevillage and wanted to explore each lanes slowly and then take a fabulous photo from the top. To my horror, I realized #gamcheon is huge and filled with lots of steep steps and narrow lanes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One can easily get lost just randomly roaming around. I didn’t even thought I needed a map until I bump into some tourist and found out that it’s useful to get a map at the entrance. My plan of roaming around the lanes leisurely has turned into some kind of exercise 😅 climbing up and down the winding lanes and then hitting a dead end, then going to another lane again. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When I decided to stop and take a photo from the top, I realized the typical photo spot has a huge white building amongst the colourful houses (see my IG story in highlight). No where does it looks like my current photo. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It took my mum and me 2 hours walking up and down (AGAIN), asking policeman, asking car park attendant, to find the right angle for this shot. We almost gave up after 2 hours but luckily at the last moment, we found this spot! Thanks to my mum for being so patient and with her great perseverance, we can finally get this nice picture.
