"Money is the worst discovery of human life. But it is the most trusted material to test human nature."
Growing up with the identity of being poor, a very subjective reality by the way, made for a very unhealthy relationship with this illusory piece of paper that shapes every facet of our lives. First I thought I loved it, then I grew to hate it. I am beginning finally to develop the true understanding of its place in my life. Its a tool. Its their tool, not mine, but can be used more so than anything else to wage war against the ignorance of our society. We can choose to stick our heads in the sand and allow for its use to be stained in the broken lives and dreams of those around us. We can twist it up and snort their poisonous bliss, lines of ingested bull shit along our journey to denial. Or we can use it as the weapon they use it as, arming ourselves against this unsustainable soup they have lain on our backs. Its power is undeniable. Its presence is unquestionable. But how we interact with it and how we wield it can change the fabric of our very existence.
